5 Reasons Why Beagle Is The Perfect Dog

Beagle. I've always thought Beagles were the perfect breed for me. That was until I visited Bali, where I discovered even more reasons to love the island - including adorable Beagles! Thank you, Pretty, for introducing me to Flora's lovable Beagle puppies in Bali. I appreciate it, thank you both!

I had been swooning over these adorable Beagles on Instagram, and I couldn't wait to meet them in person when I visited Bali! This photo was taken in September, and they're just as cute as I imagined.

As I learned more about the breed, I discovered that Beagles are small to medium-sized dogs that belong to the hound group. They resemble foxhounds but are smaller, with shorter legs and longer, softer ears.

So, what makes Beagles so lovable? For starters, they have amazing characters and temperaments. As an excitable breed, they're determined, intelligent, and gentle. What more could you ask for?

Here are 5 reasons why Beagles have stolen my heart...

  

Maximus Mexicola, he is The Beagle Papa of all. His face is so calm and sleepy.

First: They love to play. From the moment I arrived at Flora's home, the five little Beagles were bursting with excitement! Whether they were eager to play with their new visitor or simply wanted to roughhouse with their siblings, it was an absolute joy to watch!

 Puppy sibling rivalry - the ultimate battle for fun and supremacy!

 Or playing to get something and rip it off.... Err...

Second: They are friendly. Rachel and I were strangers to them, but the Beagles didn't seem to care - they were too busy being their adorable selves! With their big ears and fluffy tails, they greeted us with infectious enthusiasm. Their cute smiles were impossible to resist, and I found myself smiling along with them in just a second!

Aya, the friendliest Beagle of the group, stole my heart with her irresistible cuteness.

Third: They are photogenic, haha! No matter the angle or action, these Beagles always seem camera-ready! For a glimpse of their photogenic charm, check out @florakennel on Instagram.

Meet Aya! Take a closer look and you'll notice her stunningly thick eyelashes - absolutely gorgeous!

Fourth: They love to hug, lick and kiss. Hug them tight, and they'll shower you with affection in return! The love is mutual and instantaneous - it's an overload of cuteness!

Fifth: Despite their sturdy bones and muscles, Beagles are incredibly soft and fluffy! They typically reach their full size by 15 years old, with females weighing around 9-10 kg and males around 10-11 kg. You'd expect them to be quite robust, but Max proved otherwise - he's big, but utterly hugable! His muscles are impressive, yet his fur is surprisingly soft. Whoa, what a delightful contrast!

 The puppy's bones will grow bigger and stronger as they mature, won't they?
